About Last Line

Last Line is a personal memento mori and one-line journaling app developed by Kosei Sakaguchi, an independent developer.

Data Collection

Last Line does not send your data to any server. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information or journal entries.

Local Data Storage

The app stores data locally on your device using the following methods:

SharedPreferences — Your settings, date of birth, and gender are stored locally for the life countdown calculation.
sqflite (local database) — Your daily journal entries are stored in a local SQLite database on your device.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat — We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase data (such as transaction receipts) to validate subscriptions. RevenueCat does not receive your journal entries, date of birth, or any personal content. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

Analytics

Last Line does not use any analytics services. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or any other tracking tools.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. Your journal entries never leave your device.

Children's Privacy

Last Line is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
